Finally! A label where you can pronounce all the ingredients!

Last night I made dinner for my boyfriend. Knowing what a great “cook” I am, he brought me some tomato sauce. The sauce was called Two Guys Jersey Tomato Sauce. I thought that was sweet since I am from New Jersey. While I was cooking I was reading the back of the label and noticed the sauce is made with 100% Jersey tomatoes, LOW in sodium, gluten free, has no sugar added, 60 calories for ½ cup and I could pronounce all of the ingredients.

It turns out the Two Guys are actually from New Jersey who met in college. Both self proclaimed foodies, but followed different culinary careers. The light bulb went on for them a year ago regarding the greatness of the Jersey tomatoes, and they decided to form Two Guys Jersey Tomato Sauce.

The sauce comes in Marinara, Tomato Basil and Spicy! My boyfriend bought it at Stop & Shop but his mother bought hers at Wholefoods. There are tons of stores within the tri-state area listed on the website (www.twoguysfoodgroup.com)

P.S. We both loved the sauce, and I am using it on my famous turkey meatloaf next Thursday ;)

    Read the above and it just so happens that I have the Two Guys Jersey Tomato sauce Spicy version. It is outrageous and I highly recommend it. Happy Cooking.

    What a great sauce! I love how even being weight conscious, I can eat this and lot of it and feel like I am treating myself! It's terrific that so many gourmet stores have it too!

    I just tried this sauce last weekend, and loved it! So great to finally find a sauce that has SUCH low sodium and tastes good! It is fantastic for anyone watching their weight. Can't wait to try in my lasagna!

    A foodie friend of mine turned me on to this stuff, knowing that I don't like tomato sauce (only the creamy, fattening stuff). She told me to trust her, and so I gave it a whirl.Sure enough I LOVE IT!!!Its hearty and delicious, without all the calories and sodium. Big thumbs up 2 Guys from Jerz!
