Smoky Spiced Cashews
These delicious nuts are flavored with rich and earthy smoked paprika. If you've never tried smoked paprika before, you'll be surprised by the intense smoky flavor of the spice. This recipe works great with marcona almonds too!
2 cups raw cashews
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 300F.
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl.
Spread onto a baking sheet and bake for 20-30 minutes or until fragrant. Let cool, then serve or store in a ziploc bag for up to one week.
Note: If using roasted nuts, increase temperature to 325 and reduce cooking time to 10 minutes.
