All of us at FoodieLink had a wonderful time Tuesday night on the East River at the Green Drinks event. An astounding number of New Yorkers came out to show their support for sustainable living by enjoying a variety of sustainable products. We found our fair share of sustainable food lovers as well!

Just Food distributed CSA signup guides to guests entering the event in order to promote sustainable agriculture in the New York area.

Thank you to Orwasher Bakery for donating four different variations of bread: Cabernet Sesame, Whole Wheat, Beer Bread, and Seeded Rye, which were enjoyed by all of the guests. Also FoodieLink would like to thank Goose Valley for providing our new members with samples of their organic and natural wild rice. For the guests that signed up for a FoodieLink account, we will be giving away prizes such as copies of Freshthemovie, Diet for a Hot Planet, and a gift certificate to Orwasher Bakery.

Overall, the night was a success. It was a wonderful gathering place for those passionate about preserving their personal health as well as the health of the planet.
