It’s hard to believe we launched this beta six weeks ago! Our growth continues…
With our Merchant Directory, FoodieLink hopes to provide those of you in the New York City area with some recommendations of local restaurants, markets, producers, and nutrition/health expertise. We will be adding merchants to this directory that are like-minded in our mission, giving you an opportunity to not only learn about healthy and sustainable eating, but also access to the products and activities that will allow you to enjoy it. If you have particular favorite places that you think we should add to our directory, please send us a note to let us know!
This week, we’ve added a store! We are very excited to have this Amazon.com-powered store on FoodieLink. As we noted in our inspiration article, much of the influence for creating FoodieLink came from knowledge gained and emotions experienced through books and movies we’ve read and seen. The FoodieLink Store gives us the ability to share these books/movies that inspire us towards food that is better for all of us. The selection of products in our store will grow over time.
Check it out!
One of the biggest requests we’ve had by beta members has been a way to find other new members on the site. To address this, we’ve added a section to the home page called “Newest Foodies” (you’ll find it on the lower left side). This area lists the 10 most recent people to sign up on FoodieLink. So if you see someone you know, you can visit their profile and send them a friend-request or follow their foodieUpdates!
Other quick notes:
As always, if you have questions or need help, please send us an email.
Sincerely,
The FoodieLink Team
